1. The Algorithm Writes the Downfall

Lyrics

Pride hoarded inside these walls
It’s your temple
“I will give my life”
Clearly it’s so simple

Sickening, the lies told by prosperity
It’s a masquerade
Are you listening? Are you free?

This world speaks toxicity
But you can barely see
Played the hand you were dealt?
What’s left of it?
It’s meant to be?

Rummage through the wreckage
A mouthful of blood
This will all disintegrate and drag you through the mud

Tranquility
Oh, I can see
The way you look at me

Calling all the broken saints, Help me find the restraint
A life full of promises that never really came

Calling all the broken sinners, Give me reason to thrive
I’ll never willingly say goodbye

A crash is coming
It’s inevitable
The signs were all there
In every selfish prayer

This was not a defective design
A beautiful creation, but you’re creator-blind

Every ascent is a fall in disguise
It’s a mirage when the truth is despised

Fumble through the wreckage
A mouthful of blood
This will all disintegrate
And drag you through the mud

Tranquility
Oh I can see
You’ll never let me be

Calling all the broken saints, Help me find the restraint
A life full of promises that never really came

Calling all the broken sinners, Give me reason to thrive
I’ll never willingly say goodbye

Pride is the algorithm writing our fall
A virus of ego where we’ll lose it all

Calling all the broken saints, Help me find the restraint
A life full of promises that never really came

Calling all the broken sinners, Give me reason to thrive
I’ll never willingly say goodbye
It’s not my place to take this life

Meaning

“The Algorithm Write the Downfall” is about the Health, Wealth & Prosperity Gospel and how it’s a false teaching that is leading many astray.

In reality, we’re all broken people who need God and need each other, but we must understand how broken we all are.

Many people say they don’t want to go to church because it’s full of hypocrites, as if they’re not hypocritical themselves.

In the end, people often get to a place of complete hopelessness, especially when they’re not following Jesus.

In this place, people contemplate suicide, and sometimes give in to the contemplation.

We’re not God, and we shouldn’t play God.

That means, it’s not our place to decide whether we live or die, but if we live a life in Jesus, we have the hope and joy He provides.

2. Welcome to the Church

Lyrics

Break off for me!
Me!
Break off for me!
Me!

We’re too loud where the Word is silent
We don’t realize we’re a sleeping giant
Let’s just take a good look at this body
All of these parts, but we stay in a pile

Splintered, divided
You did more than I did
Lost, confused
We have all been used

Don’t throw all of this away
It’s not what’s in it for me
Broken hearts don’t heal with rage
This is a hospital, not a stage

Unity doesn’t mean uniformity
We should have got the warranty
United we fell, divided we stand
Let’s take a break, I’ll give you a hand

Don’t tear the stitches out again
I’m not your enemy
This is a hospital, my friend
But it’s not what you thought it’d be

Splintered, divided
You did more than I did
Lost, confused
We have all been used

Don’t throw all of this away
It’s not what’s in it for me.
Broken hearts don’t heal with rage
This is a hospital, not a stage

It’s not what’s in the church for me
It’s what’s in me for the church
Not all who preach can make you whole
Don’t burn the bridge that saves your soul

Prioritization
Participation
A congregation
A praying nation

Don’t throw all of this away
It’s not what’s in it for me.
Broken hearts don’t heal with rage
This is a hospital, not a stage

Meaning

“Welcome to the Church” is about… the church.

There’s church cliques, church hurt, expulsion, false teachings, and plenty of other things not mentioned that all make up what people see as the church. (1 Corinthians 1:10–13; Galatians 5:19–21)

We know it’s not a building, but we treat it like one. (Acts 17:24; 1 Corinthians 3:16–17)

We have hurt people at church and been hurt by people at church. (James 3:2; Ephesians 4:32)

Sometimes we defend the church when there is nothing defendable about it. (Matthew 7:15–16; 1 Timothy 5:20)

Other times we throw away the church because of something one person at a church building did to us. (Hebrews 10:24–25; Colossians 3:13)

And often, we just break off and go start a new church or denomination because that one wasn’t exactly how WE wanted it to be. (1 Corinthians 3:3–7; Philippians 2:3–4)

The point is, as Christians, we need the church. We should add to the church. We are the church. (Romans 12:4–5; 1 Peter 2:4–5)

That doesn’t mean we have to stay at a church with false teaching. Or that we have to accept poor behavior from others because they’re part of the church. (2 Timothy 4:3–4; Titus 3:10)

We are called to love God and love others. That’s the environment we need in the church. (Matthew 22:37–39; John 13:34–35)

We can’t change other people; we can only be the church Jesus called us to be. (Ephesians 4:1–3; Romans 12:18)

3. Inceptionera

Lyrics

They thought the sound would die in silence
Thought we’d fade beneath the ground
But roots grow deeper in the dark
And we rise where they look down
They sold themselves for empty crowns
Built their towers on brittle clay
But truth is louder in the quiet
We’ve only just begun to play

Where whispers turn to roars
We’re more than what they’ve seen before
No banners waved, no titles worn
A tide that breaks what’s stillborn

We are the echoes they can’t erase
We know each other in the safest space
This is the hymn they never knew
A choir of hearts that still beats true
We’re not a crowd; we’re roots that spread
Words unspoken, life in the dead
They tried to bury us before
But we’re the voice, quiet no more

We’re not a sermon behind closed doors
Not pages left in empty halls
We’re in the hum of the wires and the circuits
In every crack of broken walls
They counted us out when the lights went low
Thought silence meant the end was near
But truth moves past what eyes can see
And fear will always bow to deafening ears

They closed their gates, we dug below
What once was weak begins to grow
No sanctuaries built, the leaders frowned
We stand where sacred ground’s been found

We are the echoes they can’t erase
We know each other in the safest space
This is the hymn they never knew
A choir of hearts that still beats true
We’re not a crowd; we’re roots that spread
Words unspoken, life in the dead
They tried to bury us before
But we’re the voice, quiet no more

Accumulate your possessions like a cow fattening for slaughter
Make sure to keep away your sons and your daughters
As long as you keep your head buried beneath the ground
You’ll keep your traditions safe and sound
Keeping your head buried beneath the ground

We are the echoes they can’t erase
We know each other in the safest space
This is the hymn they never knew
A choir of hearts that still beats true
We’re not a crowd; we’re roots that spread
Words unspoken, life in the dead
They tried to bury us before
But we’re the voice, quiet no more

We won’t be silent anymore!
We won’t be silent anymore!
Let them fear what they ignored!
We won’t be silent anymore!

Meaning

“Inceptionera” is about the underground Christian metal scene.

Though we have been criticized from the start, we continue to thrive and we will only get larger.

This is a community that’s somewhat of an alternative community to what people see as the “standard church crowd.”

We have tattoos. We have dyed hair. We wear a lot of black. We scream. And we get judged for all of that. And that’s ok.

We can’t change whether or not we are judged, but that doesn’t mean we have to judge others in the same unhealthy way.

Matthew 7:1-2: “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

Luke 6:37: “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.”

John 8:7: “When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, ‘Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.’”

The Christian metal Kingdom will thrive.

For the glory of God.

4. This Reliquary Collapse

Lyrics

We know the lines—we cross them anyway.
Words unwritten still demand we pay.
Codes buried deep in forgotten machines,
Truths obscured by diluted screens.

Lay no relics in fading skies
Gold won’t burn when the signal dies
The sweetness drips from a poisoned glass
This is not a flavor you can mask

Self-indulgence wears a radiant mask
A lifeless face for an empty task
Newsfeeds drip with digital lies
Another dose while the conscience dies

Lay no relics in fading skies
Gold won’t burn when the signal dies
The sweetness drips from a poisoned glass
This is not a flavor you can mask

The poison is sweet
But it won’t disguise
The taste of guilt
And the taste of lies

Every headline’s a sugar coat—
Bitter beneath, but it swells the throat!
Every headline’s a sugar coat—
Bitter beneath, but it swells the throat!

Lay no relics in fading skies
Gold won’t burn when the signal dies
The sweetness drips from a poisoned glass
This is not a flavor you can mask

Meaning

“This Reliquary Collapse” is about the facade that is this life.

We must stop pretending that we aren’t all caught up in this digital age.

We value technology, our cell phones, and our social media praise.

However, we’re all on the same page, and almost everyone is trying to cover up the sorrow that lies beneath all of the fakeness.

5. Fault Lines Under the Fallen

Lyrics

They spoke with tongues that split the air
Built monuments of skin and bone
With hollow eyes they led the pack
But the cracks were theirs alone
The soil remembers every step
The weight of pride leaves lines too deep
But when the statues fall to dust
The depths of truth will never sleep

Don’t mistake the fall for the end of the road
We all bear weight we’re not meant to hold

We all walk with fault lines under our feet
No one’s above the curse, there’s no elite
There’s more to truth than flesh and bone
It stands when leaders fall from thrones
Don’t let their ruin make you blind
This Word remains, where hearts will slide
It wasn’t them who held the key
And it’s not them who set you free

The suits they wore became their mask
And power turned their hearts to stone
They claimed the path but left behind
The grace that walks the road alone
Their fall was loud, their sins were wide
But truth remains beneath the dust
No preacher’s hands can save your soul
But grace still lives in sacred trust

They built the walls, but walls will fall
Their rise was never meant to solve

We all walk with fault lines under our feet
No one’s above the curse, there’s no elite
There’s more to truth than flesh and bone
It stands when leaders fall from thrones
Don’t let their ruin make you blind
This Word remains, where hearts will slide
It wasn’t them who held the key
And it’s not them who set you free

We all have crumbling hands
We all wear lose, fragile skin
But the truth was never theirs to lose
And grace was never tied to sin
Don’t throw the sky away for ash
Don’t burn the bridge for what they’ve done
It wasn’t men who made the light
And it won’t die with anyone
Don’t look for God in man-made halls
His name will be here when the buildings fall

We all walk with fault lines under our feet
No one’s above the curse, there’s no elite
There’s more to truth than flesh and bone
It stands when leaders fall from thrones
Don’t let their ruin make you blind
This Word remains, where hearts will slide
It wasn’t them who held the key
And it’s not them who set you free

Meaning

“Fault Lines Under the Fallen” is about how nobody is above reproach. (“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23)

We all look to Christian leaders, pastors, and scholars, and as much as we say we don’t put them on a pedestal, we do. (“Stop regarding man, whose breath of life is in his nostrils; for why should he be esteemed?” Isaiah 2:22)

We all do. I do. Even though I know everyone is capable of all types of sin and man’s heart is full of evil. (The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked; who can understand it?” Jeremiah 17:9)

This is not to bring anyone down and take away from great leaders. (“Let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching.” 1 Timothy 5:17)

The point is, we’re all in the same world, with the same Word. (“Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.” John 17:17)

Too many people have left the church and Christianity as a whole because of the sins of leaders.

We have to start by holding each other accountable, but we also have to remember that we’re all human. (“Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted.” Galatians 6:1)

6. The Only Race is Humankind

Lyrics

Will we still care about skin color if there are other actual races we discover?
Are there little green men who wonder if aliens exist?
If they do, do they say “Do they really have black, brown and white skin?”
Do they stare at endless space, hoping someone hears?
Do they mark their time by days or by years?
Or do they know, what we’ve yet to find—
The only race is humankind?

7. When the Stars Look Back

Lyrics

Do you think they stand in silence, staring at the night?
On worlds unknown, do they wonder if we’re burning just as bright?
Would they build their walls of dust, from soil they’ve never claimed?
Or divide themselves by colors that no galaxy has named?
Would they whisper ancient names to skies that never weep?
Would they dream of unseen faces, lying restless in their sleep?
Or would they laugh at us from distant lands, calling out our lies,
While we fracture our reflection under unfamiliar skies?

If we are many, yet we are the same,
Why carve borders in our name?
Do the stars watch us from afar,
And wonder why we break apart?

Are we the question, or are we the lie?
Do they search the heavens, asking why?
What color is a soul when stripped of skin?
The answers are buried deep within.
We search for signals, distant and wild,
Yet fail to see that we’re exiled.
One race, one place beneath endless skies,
But blind, we see through blinded eyes.

Do you think they hold their hands to skies that never mourn?
Do they bleed their earth to dust, lost before they’re born?
Would they name themselves by land, by blood, by creed, by war?
Or see the foolish lines we drew, and wonder what they’re for?
Do they measure worth by wealth, or by stars they’ve yet to chart?
Do they wear their pride like masks to hide their breaking hearts?
Or would they look at us and see, through all our broken frames,
The only alien is the one who plays the human game?

Do they pray to gods who never hear?
Do they hide their truths in fear?
Or do they know what we can’t see—
There’s no “them,” there’s only “we.”

Across the stars, they wait and ask—
Does life out there wear a mask?
Would they tear themselves apart,
To feed the fire within their hearts?
Would they see the truth we hide—
That all our fears are born from pride?
Or would they learn before the fall,
That in the end, we’re all one call?

8. Our Last Digital Transmission

Lyrics

We bury God in a digital tomb
Count our worth in empty rooms
All that’s kept will corrode in time
The devices you hold will rewrite the crime
No prophecy speaks of this decay
The collapse is quiet, it’s a slow sway
Your hands build altars with a microphone
But every offering cuts to the bone

Your treasures turn to plastic dust
Reliance fades into electric lust
We are the remnants, we are the code
The last transmission before we implode

When you know the cost and still obey
The silence becomes a massive debt to pay
Dreams shatter when your icons fall
And nothing saves you after all

We spin the wheels of endless returns
Graves lined with gold that no one earned
Self is the shrine where offerings flow
Devotion masked in a fake show
The noise feeds hunger; the screens distort
Truth dissolves as a last resort

Your treasures turn to plastic dust
Reliance fades into electric lust
We are the remnants, we are the code
The last transmission before we implode

When you know the cost and still obey
The silence becomes a massive debt to pay
Dreams shatter when your icons fall
And nothing saves you after all

Your hands are clean but the memories remain
Every idle choice leaves invisible stains
A sin not named, but carved in the bone!
A silence that builds its own gravestone!!

When you know the cost and still obey
The silence becomes a massive debt to pay
Dreams shatter when your icons fall
And nothing saves you after all

When you know the cost and still obey
The silence becomes a massive debt to pay
Dreams shatter when your icons fall
And nothing saves you after all

9. Desert Fathers

Lyrics

They walked where the dirt saw no man before
Where daylight spoke in tongues of silence
Beneath horizons stretched like worn-out cloth
They carved their thoughts into compliance
The world behind them kept its noise
While skies above unraveled quiet threads
Their hunger was not for flesh or gold
But for a voice hidden in what’s unsaid

Buried names in desert winds
Forgotten lives where faith begins
A refuge sought from crowded cries
Where barren truths and grace collide

Leave behind the walls of men
Seek the place where silence mends
When noise consumes the hearts of kings
The desert calls, and the wind sings
In emptiness, the echoes rise
A holy place where nothing dies
What’s unseen becomes the guide
The voice that dwells where saints confide in you

The city’s weight drowns in manmade laws
Its streets too narrow for the soul to breathe
Their feet found paths uncharted and raw
Through barren lands where whispers seethe
The dust was not a curse, but a cure,
A veil between the sacred and the profane
They sought a place without a name
A kingdom formed of what endures

Buried names in desert winds
Forgotten lives where faith begins
A refuge sought from crowded cries
Where barren truths and grace collide

Leave behind the walls of men
Seek the place where silence mends
When noise consumes the hearts of kings
The desert calls, and the wind sings
In emptiness, the echoes rise
A holy place where nothing dies
What’s unseen becomes the guide
The voice that dwells where saints confide in you

The desert’s breath will never cease
A whispered hymn, a prayer of peace
For those who seek beyond the frame
Will find a light without a name

Leave behind the walls of men
Seek the place where silence mends
When noise consumes the hearts of kings
The desert calls, and the wind sings
In emptiness, the echoes rise
A holy place where nothing dies
What’s unseen becomes the guide
The voice that dwells where saints confide in you

10. Gospel of Peace

Lyrics

The helmet’s weight doesn’t crush your bones
Shielded thoughts that steal the day
Each strike falls against the unknown
Is turned aside by words that stay
Fastened truth holds fast the mind
Against deceit that creeps inside

The winds will come, the sky will break
The messenger must revive the dead
Through broken ground and empty faith
Their steps will carry what is said

The Gospel walks where swords can’t go
A flame that burns through frost and woe
It finds the hearts that bleed and dream
And binds the wounds that wars have seen
No kingdom built with mortal hands
Can crush the strength on which it stands
Peace is not the absence of war
It’s standing firm and nothing more

The winds will come, the sky will break
The messenger must revive the dead
Through broken ground and empty faith
Their steps will carry what is said

The shield that guards the unseen soul
Turns arrows into faded dust
The sword they bear is not for flesh
But words that pierce and never rust
Their call is not to conquer lands
But stand where others turn away
The Gospel waits in silent hands
For those prepared to walk its way

11. It's the Weight We Hold

Lyrics

It’s a familiar path we walk with heavy steps
Where comfort disguises the blade that it holds
Each pattern repeats like a scream with no end
Every breath carves deeper wounds in the soul
The cage isn’t made out of steel, but of will
Where habits become both the judge and the chain
It’s not the act, but the rhythm that glues
The slow erosion inside our domain

We can’t lift up each other
We can’t care for one another
You can’t find peace and love her
You won’t find the answers in the amateur

We can’t lift another when we’re sinking below
We can’t love the world and what we know we disown
The hardest fight is not what’s outside
But conquering the self we try to hide

It’s the cycle we don’t see that drags us below
A different thief stealing peace in the night
Put your blade away, there’s no battle cries heard
These wars rage on in the absence of light
What we permit will always persist
The things we excuse become habits we train
Mercy truly waits in the depths of despair
A light in the cracks where hope is sustained

We can’t lift up each other
We can’t depend on one another
We can’t find peace and love her
We won’t find the answers in the literature

We can’t lift another when we’re sinking below
We can’t love the world and what we know we disown
The hardest fight is not what’s outside
But conquering the self we try to hide

It’s not in perfection we find our peace
The peace is in surrender where battles cease
The wounds we carry must meet the light
Our healing comes through truth, not might
To love each other, we must forgive
And see ourselves through heaven’s lens

We can’t lift another when we’re sinking below
We can’t love the world and what we know we disown
The hardest fight is not what’s outside
But conquering the self we try to hide

Poem:
It’s a shadowed road we tread with burdened feet
Where solace cloaks the dagger it conceals
Each cycle returns, a howl in the void
Every breath gnaws deeper, a wound that won’t heal
This prison lacks bars of iron or stone
Its walls forged in choices we no longer own
Rituals tighten the grip of decay
A silent descent, with no light to betray
The act is forgotten; it’s rhythm that binds
A maddening pulse that consumes our minds
Slow is the ruin, unseen and profane
The decay of self in a kingdom of pain

12. A Life of Perpetual Motion

Lyrics

We run from the quiet, we drown in the sound
Every thought pulls us deeper where nothing is found
Our hearts beat restless with aimless desire
Chasing illusions that never expire
The silence is foreign, a stranger at best
But stillness demands us to sit and confess
We flee from ourselves in a desperate dance
Never aware we’re erasing our chance

What if the noise isn’t progress or gain?
What if we’re trapped in a self-spinning chain?

Siting still for an hour cuts deep in the brain
(It cuts into the brain)
In the quiet, you’ll find both compunction and pain
(The puncturing pain)
A man once warned of this hollow compulsion
(Hollow compulsion)
Our hearts trapped in cycles of endless repulsion
Perpetual motion—no rest in the soul
A life never silent will never be whole

The ticking hand beckons, the clock never sleeps
We dance through distractions while nothing runs deep
Our minds crave the trivial, the fleeting delight
Blinded by screens that steal every night
The weight of existence is heavier still
When silence is something we can’t seem to will
We mask the discomfort with tasks we pursue
But in all our escaping, the emptiness grew

What if the fear isn’t silence itself?
But the truth we avoid when alone with ourselves?

Siting still for an hour cuts deep in the brain
(It cuts into the brain)
In the quiet, you’ll find both compunction and pain
(The puncturing pain)
A man once warned of this hollow compulsion
(Hollow compulsion)
Our hearts trapped in cycles of endless repulsion
Perpetual motion—no rest in the soul
A life never silent will never be whole

The loudest of prisons has no bars to break
It’s the tick of distractions we refuse to forsake
Every second we move is a second we lose
Escaping from truth is the freedom we choose
But in the end, we’re only running in place
Afraid of the silence that forces us to face
The person we’ve buried, the soul we’ve ignored
The life we abandoned for the chaos we adore

Siting still for an hour cuts deep in the brain
(It cuts into the brain)
In the quiet, you’ll find both compunction and pain
(The puncturing pain)
A man once warned of this hollow compulsion
(Hollow compulsion)
Our hearts trapped in cycles of endless repulsion
Perpetual motion—no rest in the soul
A life never silent will never be whole

Stillness is exile, or so we believe
But only in silence can our hearts be relieved
Pascal was right, though his words we dismiss
Most of our torment is born out of this

13. How Far Will I Go?

Lyrics

Don’t stay where you are comfortable
Go where you’re commanded
It’s a great call and commission
Don’t stumble like your past man did

Bleeding yourself dry
Bleeding like you never tried
Deceiving and tired
Don’t get caught up on the lies

Send me to the farthest reach
Bending me as your masterpiece
Descending to the depths of hell
Pretending I never tried to dwell (on the past)

Living
(Decaying)
Attempting
(Betraying)
Uplifting
(A slaying)
Forgiving
(Belaying)

Send me to the farthest reach
Bending me as your masterpiece
Descending to the depths of hell
Pretending I never tried to dwell (on the past)

Send me to the farthest reach
Bending me as your masterpiece
Descending to the depths of hell
Pretending I never tried to dwell (on the past)

Send me to the farthest reach
Bending me as your masterpiece
Descending to the depths of hell
Pretending I never tried to dwell

Send me to the farthest reach
Bending me as your masterpiece
Descending to the depths of hell
Pretending I never tried to dwell
